Tooth whitening or bleaching is an effective way to dramatically improve your smile and overall appearance. Often patients are astounded by the change in their look after a simple bleaching process – dazzling white teeth make you look and feel younger, healthier, and more radiant. You will be surprised by the number of people that take notice of your new smile.
At Whole Body Dentistry we offer custom fitted bleaching trays for at-home tooth whitening. We take an impression of your teeth and create bleaching trays that fits comfortably on your teeth for use at home or even work. The bleaching trays are typically worn for 1-3 hours each day for a period of approximately two weeks.
We do not offer in-office tooth whitening because of severe prolonged tooth sensitivity many patients experience. At-home bleaching is a safer, gentler, and more convenient alternative. Every 6-12 months or whenever bleaching ‘touch-ups’ are desired, you simply put on your bleaching trays for a few hours in the convenience of your home. While store bought bleaching alternatives are effective, it cannot provide the same degree of whitening and comfort as custom fitted bleaching trays.
Prior to bonding and other cosmetic procedures, we often instruct our patients to bleach their teeth so that the final outcome can be dazzling.
